Wausau Supply Company, a leading building materials distributor, seeks a Market Development Manager to drive new business and expand market presence. You’ll partner with contractors, installers, developers, and architects, leveraging product knowledge across brands to win opportunities.

You will travel within your geography, prospecting and opening new accounts, educating customers on product features, and maintaining a robust CRM pipeline. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• College degree and/or 3-5 years of related sales experience.
• General working knowledge of residential construction.
• Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software knowledge a plus.

Responsabilités

• Drive new business development and open new accounts within the assigned geography.
• Be a product expert and provide solutions across the brand portfolio to win new business.
• Travel within geography to call on contractors, installers, developers, remodelers, and architects.
• Educate customers on product features and installation best practices to build trust.
• Maintain accurate records and CRM pipeline to track activity and strategy.
• Attend trade shows, sales meetings, and events to generate new business leads.
