Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent leadership and operational experience may be considered.
• Healthcare operations experience in physician practices, outpatient clinics, or hospital operations is required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience required; 2-3 years preferred.
• Experience overseeing operations across multiple departments or locations preferred.
• Understanding of clinical operations, provider workflows, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to evaluate workflows, implement process improvements, and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with physicians and staff.
• Proficiency with EHRs and standard business applications; Athena experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Rural Health Clinic operations and compliance preferred.
• Ability to travel between physician practices as needed.
• Clinical licensure is not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple physician practices, ensuring efficient workflows and quality patient care.
• Provide operational leadership and support to office and practice managers across the market.
• Partner with physicians, clinical teams, and administrative staff to identify operational challenges and improve processes.
• Oversee operational compliance for Rural Health Clinics (RHCs), including audits and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate and standardize clinical and administrative workflows, including Athena EMR systems.
• Support staffing operations, development, performance management, and team collaboration.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency across locations.
• Build relationships with providers and staff to foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
• Provide operational coverage when practice managers are unavailable.
• Support organizational goals, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
