Job summary

Hornbeck Offshore is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to support our fleet and shoreside recruiting activities, overseeing new hire orientation, travel arrangements, and onboarding workflows in Workday.

You will manage PPE inventory, coordinate training plans, collect documents for the ATS, assist recruiters with career fairs and referrals, and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years in recruiting, office administration, event planning, or logistics.
• Maritime experience preferred, including understanding marine licensing.
• Experience with Workday Recruiter preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate New Hire Orientation and travel for new hires.
• Develop onboarding plans and track through Workday.
• Maintain PPE inventory and record-keeping.
• Provide backup support to Recruiting Coordinator and assist with onboarding.
• Assist with training administration and payroll-related processes.
• Collect documents for applicant tracking records.
• Support recruiters with career fairs, referrals, and campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
