Carrier Marine & Offshore Systems is seeking a Service Sales Account Manager for our Syracuse, NY marine service team. The role supports a network of end customers and drives service contracts across markets, including remote locations in the US. Travel up to 40% domestically and internationally is expected.

The position targets individuals with a strong HVAC service background and an interest in maritime applications, offering opportunities to develop service products and manage key accounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of Commercial HVAC service industry experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a network of end customers.
• Builds long-term relationships with customers by maintaining active contacts, in cooperation with internal and external parties for Project Management and Sales.
• Prepares service contracts for new and existing customers and submits them for approval to the Service Manager and/or Managing Director.
• Signals any complaints and bottlenecks in the contacts and undertakes necessary improvement actions.
• Prepares quotations, both proactive and reactive.
• Performs research on board ships to see if more efficiency can be achieved and provides solicited and unsolicited advice to the customer.
