Job summary

Carrier Marine & Offshore Systems is seeking a Service Sales Account Manager to manage service contracts, cultivate key accounts and drive regional sales growth from Syracuse, NY with nationwide and international travel.

The role requires strong HVAC service domain knowledge, customer relationship skills and the ability to negotiate contracts while coordinating with internal teams on retrofits and service projects.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Commercial HVAC service industry experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a network of end customers.
• Build long-term relationships with customers in coordination with internal/external parties for project management and sales.
• Prepare service contracts and submit for approval by Service Manager/Managing Director.
• Identify improvements from complaints and bottlenecks in contacts.
• Prepare quotations, proactive and reactive.
• Research board ships to improve efficiency and provide advice to customers.
• Translate sales opportunities into promoting activities and approved strategies.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts/sales.
• Account for all projects and drive necessary actions.
• Coordinate with retrofit teams on high-level controls implementations.
• Draw up monthly sales forecasts.
