Position supports Government/DoD and international markets with travel up to 25%. The role emphasizes staffing, NPI, and budget management, with a focus on production transitions and organizational health across the engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 15 years in a product development role with DoD experience.
• 10 years leading cross-functional teams.
• Active Secret security clearance required; Top Secret/SCI preferred; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams to drive product development and execution.
• Own technical scope, cost and schedule for engineering content.
• Manage staffing, resources, and requisitions for the division.
• Mentor engineering leaders and drive skill development across teams.
• Plan product development from definition through production transition across markets.
• Manage IRAD portfolio and maintain the technology roadmap.
• Oversee engineering budgets and governance of NPI processes.
• Resolve high-impact technical issues in collaboration with sector and leadership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align growth and product strategy.
• Foster continuous improvement and a high-motivation culture within engineering.
• Oversee staffing plans and project schedules across programs.
• Represent engineering to major customers and manage key relationships.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
