Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Principal, Program Management Excellence- Engineering to lead cross-functional engineering execution across the Maritime Sector. The role requires deep experience in program management and EVMS, with responsibilities to drive baselines, performance, and reviews in DoD environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years experience, or post-graduate with 10+ years.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance.
• 10+ years in aerospace & defense program management, engineering management and EVMS.
• Experience managing P&L.
• Proven ability to present to executives.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across dispersed teams.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% (up to 50%).

Responsibilities

• Drive predictable performance across sector programs for the Engineering function.
• Partner with program and IPT members to support executable baselines (cost and schedule).
• Drive and support program baseline planning for the Engineering function.
• Manage Division CAM training for the Engineering function.
• Ensure Engineering IPT lead / CAM excellence within sector programs.
• Serve as an IPT support member and advocate for Engineering initiatives.
• Assist and support Gate and Independent Reviews for the sector.
• Drive program R&O management and EAC/ETC development and approval.
• Support preperation of sector and division reviews; ensure policy compliance.
