Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive global maritime growth. This role leads international campaigns, builds OEM partnerships, and coordinates cross-divisional efforts to win major defense programs in maritime sectors. Travel up to 50% is possible and security clearance eligibility is required.

The position reports to the VP Maritime BD and Strategy, supporting strategy development and enterprise-wide collaboration across regions and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; 15+ years in international business development, or 10 years with a postgrad degree; or 19 years experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience and knowledge of defense, intelligence, and adjacent markets across international maritime domains.
• Understanding of key maritime industry partners and OEMs in international locations.
• Proven success in shaping and closing international sales of major platforms and systems.

Responsibilities

• Protect and grow maritime franchises across international markets.
• Establish relationships with regional OEMs and customers.
• Coordinate captures involving multiple L3Harris businesses and campaigns.
• Develop strategic messaging and briefing material for external customers.
