Reporting to Sector leadership, this role aligns engineering strategy with business growth, customer commitments, and enterprise objectives in a regulated environment requiring innovation and rigor.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of leadership experience in engineering.
• Active Top Secret Clearance; willingness to travel up to 50%, including international travel.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and ITAR requirements; ability to operate in highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the Sector engineering strategy in alignment with business growth and operational priorities.
• Lead end-to-end technical strategy and product development across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Translate enterprise and customer needs into actionable technical roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Accountable for engineering execution across development, quality, deployment, and sustainment of products and solutions.
• Lead engineering transformation initiatives to improve scalability, efficiency, and technical capability.
• Drive long-term technical planning, including roadmaps, organizational design, and capacity planning.
• Champion innovation by adopting emerging technologies and modern tools while ensuring delivery accountability.
• Provide executive leadership oversight across engineering activities spanning four business units.
• Establish governance models, metrics, and operating rhythms to ensure consistent execution.
• Own resource planning, prioritization, and allocation to optimize delivery against commitments.
• Standardize engineering processes and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability.
