Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Director of Program Management to lead the Mission Applications Portfolio, overseeing multiple programs and a $100M annual revenue stream. You will drive execution, customer engagement, and growth across engineering, finance, contracts, supply chain, and business development.

The role requires a senior leader who can mentor program managers, ensure cost, schedule, and quality performance, and scale the organization to meet rising demand within a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of related experience; graduate degree with 13+ years; or 19 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years leading complex programs, portfolios, or business operations with significant financial accountability.
• Current Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
• Ability to Travel ~25%

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the Mission Applications Portfolio, including execution, customer satisfaction, financial performance, risk management, and resource alignment.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a portfolio valued at ~ $100M annually, with growth over 1–2 years.
• Direct and develop program managers and portfolio staff to ensure disciplined execution across all programs.
• Ensure portfolio performance meets revenue, margin, cash, bookings, and customer deliverables.
• Establish governance, operating rhythms, escalation paths, and performance reviews for the portfolio.
• Drive execution excellence through planning, forecasting, risk/opportunity management, and corrective action.
• Serve as the senior point of contact for portfolio-level customer communications and executive reviews.
• Collaborate with BD and capture teams to support growth and new business pursuits.
