Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking a senior leader to drive the technical development of maritime products from concept to delivery within the Maritime Division. You will partner with Strategy and customers to ensure requirements traceability to program decisions, and lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and operations to deliver capabilities at sea.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Systems Engineering, Marine Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum of 15 years experience with technical leadership and systems engineering on defense systems or weapon programs.
Strong systems engineering and architecture definition background to bridge software and hardware.
Experience with sensing payloads and communications architectures.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Travel 25% to Customer and Test Sites.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage initial design, prototyping, verification, and delivery of a maritime autonomous system.
Design system architecture, define requirements, and perform trades and optimization.
Perform systems engineering and trade analyses for early conceptual designs.
Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain to embed design-for-manufacturing early.
Ensure leadership aligns resource plans with scope and milestones.
Oversee technical execution for new surface maritime product.
Define capabilities, milestones, and demonstrations for continuous development.
