Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a senior technical leader to drive maritime product development from concept to delivery. You will coordinate with strategy teams and customers to ensure requirements trace to program decisions, and you will lead cross-functional teams to rapidly mature designs for field deployment.

The role emphasizes systems engineering, architecture definition, and close collaboration with manufacturing and strategy to deliver purpose-built maritime capabilities at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Systems Engineering, Marine Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 15 years experience with technical leadership and systems engineering on defense programs.
• Strong systems engineering and architecture definition to bridge software and hardware product developments.
• Experience with sensing payloads and comms architectures.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Travel 25% to Customer and Test Sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the initial design, prototyping, capability verification, and delivery of a maritime autonomous system.
• Manage system and subsystems design, architecture, requirements, trades, optimization and risk.
• Perform systems engineering and trade analyses to enable exploration and rapid iteration of early conceptual designs.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain to embed design for manufacturing in early concepts.
• Work with senior leadership to ensure resource plans are adequate.
• Oversee technical execution of generation of a new surface product for Anduril Maritime.
• Define key capabilities, milestones, and demonstrations for continuous development.
