Job summary

OneWater Marine in Salem, SC is seeking a Marine Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and installations on a variety of watercraft in a precise and timely manner.

You will document service work, coordinate with parts and service teams, follow safety protocols, and participate in service schools to maintain certifications. This is a full-time position based in Salem, SC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a marine technician or similar role preferred.
• Marine Technician certification(s) is a plus. Manufacturer certification (Boat or Engine)
• Current & valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and upgrades on boats in a timely, competent, and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with parts & service to address customer concerns in an appropriate manner.
• Accurately document all service work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and other important details.
• Ensure all boats are handled with care before, during, and after service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow safety protocols.
• Attend applicable service schools to maintain certification and stay updated on trends and tools.
• Assist with special work events such as boat shows.
• All other duties as assigned.
