Job summary

OneWater Marine is seeking a Marine Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and installations on a variety of watercraft. The role involves coordinating with parts and service, documenting work, and ensuring safety and quality at all times.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, relevant experience, and may hold manufacturer certifications. A valid driver's license and knowledge of marine systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a marine technician or similar role preferred.
• Marine Technician certification(s) is a plus. Manufacturer certification (Boat or Engine)
• Current & valid driver's license
• Solid understanding of marine systems, marine tools and diagnostic equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades on boats to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with parts & service to address customer concerns in a timely manner.
• Document all service work, parts used, labor hours, and provide documentation to customers.
• Ensure boats are handled with care before, during, and after service.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety protocols.
• Attend service schools to maintain certifications and stay updated on trends and tools.
• Assist with special events such as boat shows.
• All other duties as assigned.
