Job summary

OneWater Marine is seeking a marine technician apprentice for the Tom George Yacht Group in Clearwater, FL. You will work closely with experienced technicians to gain skills in maintenance, repair, and service on boats and marine systems in a hands-on environment.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service, with opportunities to participate in training and workshops to build technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some technical or mechanical training is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic hand tools will be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on boats and marine systems.
• Assist in pre-delivery inspections, maintenance, and refurbishments.
• Conduct diagnostics to identify mechanical or electrical issues.
• Learn to troubleshoot, repair, and replace boat parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Support the team to ensure high customer satisfaction with quality work.
