Job summary

OneWater Marine in Seabrook, TX is seeking a Marine Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on boats and marine equipment. You will help ensure all boats are in excellent working condition and document service work, parts used, and labor hours.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant experience or certifications, a valid driver’s license, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as marine technician or related role preferred.
• Marine Technician certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and upgrades on boats in a timely, competent, and professional manner.
• Coordinate with parts and service departments to prioritize customer concerns.
• Accurately document all service work, parts used, labor hours, and provide documentation to customers.
• Ensure boats are handled with care and safety protocols followed.
• Attend applicable service schools to maintain certification and stay updated on trends, tools and technologies.
• Assist with special work events such as boat shows.
