Job summary

Tom George Yacht Group in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Marine Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on a variety of watercraft. You will ensure boats and equipment are in excellent working condition and document all service activities with accuracy and care.

The role requires strong problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Marine Technician certification(s) a plus.
• Current and valid driver’s license required.
• Solid understanding of marine systems and diagnostic equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and upgrades on boats in a timely, professional manner.
• Coordinate with parts & service to prioritize customer concerns.
• Document all service work with parts, labor and details; provide clear documentation to customers.
• Ensure boats are handled with care before, during, and after service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following safety protocols.
• Attend service schools to stay current on trends and technologies; participate in boat shows as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
