Job summary

Vigor Marine Group in Seattle, WA is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the PMT by assisting in planning and estimating base and change order work, material and subcontracting identification, and developing and maintaining project schedules.

The role requires reading specifications, coordinating with departments, and maintaining electronic project files. Candidates should have strong organizational, communication, and scheduling skills, with experience in shipyard environments preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in Production, scheduling, material requisitioning and procurement is preferred.
• Strong reading and interpretation of blueprints, specifications and technical publications.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM with development of specifications/work items and estimates with complete technical information.
• Develop material and subcontractor requirements to obtain competitive quotes.
• Assist PMT in conflicts by collecting information and providing recommendations to PM.
