Job summary

Vigor Marine LLC in the United States is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager Team across multiple shipyard projects. The role emphasizes planning, documentation, and effective collaboration with suppliers and internal departments.

You will assist with schedules, estimates, change orders, BOMs, and progress reports, while maintaining electronic files and ensuring accurate data for performance reviews and decision making.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting work specifications, drawings and contracts.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of shipboard systems and scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM with developing specifications and estimates containing all required technical information.
• Develop material and subcontractor requirements to obtain competitive quotes.
• Support project scheduling and progress reporting, including earned value and costs.
• Prepare reports related to progress, cost and performance metrics.
• Maintain electronic project files and BOM/LLTM records.
• Assist in ship checks to define work scope and change orders.
• Process CFRs for contract changes with PMT and vendors.
• Assist in data entry for Craft Survey and Proposals, and set up IFS project structures.
