Job summary

CMP Global, a provider of Marine Products, Construction, and Industrial solutions, seeks a Customer Service Representative for our Suffolk, VA team. This full-time role focuses on delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers and acting as a liaison to resolve issues accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities include handling orders, processing invoices, coordinating with production and sales teams, and providing product and stock information.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience in manufacturing preferred.
• 1–3 years of order entry experience.
• 1–3 years of using CRM systems and MS Office.
• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers through various channels and respond to emails within 24 hours.
• Provide backup for E-Commerce portals, process orders, invoices, cancellations and changes daily.
• Prepare credit authorizations and Return Goods Authorizations (RGA).
• Troubleshoot complaints, manage CRM records, and draft status reports.
• Provide pricing and stock inquiries with product knowledge.
• Supply warranty, recall and replacement information promptly.
• Review new and open CRM tickets daily and ensure timely updates.
• Assist Accounts Receivable with short payments and coordinate with sales.
