Job summary

Johnson Controls Navy Systems is seeking a Field Operations General Manager in the Norfolk, VA area to lead field service teams supporting marine HVAC systems for US Navy vessels. This role reports to the JCNS Director of Programs, Contracts, and Field Services and requires P&L ownership across Norfolk, San Diego, and Seattle operations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in field service leadership, strong operational and financial acumen, and a track record of delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive field service experience.
• Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in business.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all Profit and Loss (P&L), growth, and strategy for the field services team.
• Lead a team of sales executives and develop processes to cultivate, qualify and close new sales opportunities.
• Coordinate and manage field service schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled HVAC field technicians and managers, ensuring high productivity and morale.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of marine HVAC systems to ensure high-quality service and compliance with industry standards.
