Job summary

Weeks Marine, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Field Operations team. You will report to the Project Manager and act as a job-site leader for health and safety, ensuring quality reporting and workmanship while handling contract administration, planning, scheduling, and project reporting.

You will advise Project Management on contractual and legal issues and work across multiple job sites as needed, with a focus on safety, ethics, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
• 1-3+ years' construction field experience.
• Read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong work ethic, with a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining completed/installed work.
• Assist in the preparation of work plans and work packages.
• Assist in field surveying and layout support including elevation and control points.
• Assist in compiling daily labor timesheets and project documentation.
• Participate in Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and safety reviews.
• Coordinate material deliveries and schedule field activities.
• Supervise field operations and support subcontractors.
