Job summary

Weeks Marine, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to lead on-site engineering activities and ensure safe, quality workmanship on Northeast projects. You will report to the Project Manager, assist in contract administration, planning, scheduling, and reporting, and advise PM on contractual matters.

Qualified candidates have 1-3+ years in construction, an engineering degree, field surveying ability, and strong communication skills. Travel and relocations may be required to support field operations.

Qualifications

1-3+ years' construction field experience.
Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related.
Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Passion for safety and ethics on-site.

Responsibilities

Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
Perform quantity calculations and determine percent completed/installed materials.
Assist in work plans and work packages preparation.
Assist in field surveying and as-built data compilation.
Assist in daily labor timesheets and JHA preparation.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups; supervise field operations.
