Job summary

Weeks Marine, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to lead on-site activities, ensure safety and quality, and advise Project Management on contractual issues. You will handle contract administration, planning, scheduling, and project reporting while coordinating field teams across Northeast locations.

The role emphasizes site leadership, ethics, and proactive problem-solving to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of construction field experience.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and contract documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specs for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and track completed work.
• Prepare work plans, packages, and daily reports.
• Assist field surveying and layout support including elevations.
• Support JHA preparation and safety reviews.
• Coordinate material deliveries and schedule work groups.
• Supervise field operations and subcontractor activities.
• Assist in office engineering tasks and data submittals.
