Job summary

Weeks Marine, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to oversee field- and office-based engineering activities on our construction projects. You will report to the Project Manager, lead safety efforts, manage plans, schedules, and reporting, and advise on contractual and technical issues.

This role requires 1-3+ years field experience and a civil/construct./related degree. Travel and relocation may be required as projects shift; Weeks Marine offers a robust benefits package and opportunities for

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years' construction field experience.
• Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related.
• Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Willing to travel and relocate as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews.
• Perform quantity calculations and take measurements.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating work groups on the jobsite.
• Assist in field surveying and layout support including elevation and control points.
• Supervise field operations and provide field support for subcontractors.
