Job summary

Orion Marine Group in the United States seeks an entry-level Field Engineer to support project teams on marine infrastructure sites. You will assist with inspection, measurements, and coordinating materials to ensure accurate installation.

You will work with the Project Manager, Superintendent, Engineer, Safety Representative, and crews to deliver projects safely, while learning surveying, drafting, budgeting, and project controls in a growth‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Science or related field.
• Hands-on internship or co-op in marine construction preferred.
• Working knowledge of project management, materials procurement, estimating, scheduling, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support project management teams to complete projects safely and on schedule.
• Estimate costs for upcoming projects including materials, services, and labor.
• Interpret plans, provide work control lines/elevations, and assist with surveying.
