Job summary

Orion is seeking a skilled carpenter to work on marine construction projects. You will construct, erect, install, and repair concrete forms, frames, shelters, and related wood structures according to plans and oral instructions.

You will collaborate with the Project Superintendent, Barge Foreman, crane operators, and labor crews to deliver safe, quality outcomes. This role requires at least two years of carpentry experience, ability to read drawings, and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years carpentry experience.
• Ability to communicate well on site.
• Knowledge of concrete forming systems for reinforced concrete structures.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and repair concrete forms and related wood structures.
• Interpret plans and specifications to build or repair structures.
• Secure and maintain tools and materials on the job site.
• Work with the marine yard team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Comply with safety and environmental policies at all times.
