Job summary

Kokosing is seeking Carpenters for marine projects in VA/MD. You will construct, erect, and repair structures for heavy civil marine works, interpreting blueprints, measuring materials, and assembling formwork.

Expect 12-hour shifts, travel, and active use of hand and power tools on site. Experience in formwork or Carpenter training is preferred; must be comfortable working at height with fall protection and lifting up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in formwork or Carpenter Training Program or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read blueprints or bridge plans for materials.
• Proficiency with tape measures and basic measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, and repair structures for heavy civil marine projects.
• Prepare layout and measure boards, timbers, or plywood.
• Assemble wood deck forms and formwork components.
• Read blueprints and follow sketches for material needs.
• Set up scaffolding, assist in pouring concrete, and maintain safety.
