Job summary

Hydrasearch in Stevensville, MD is seeking a detail-oriented Drafter to join our engineering team and produce 2D/3D drawings for our marine product lines. You will ensure manufacturing readiness and contribute to an AS9100 environment with strict document control.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of drafting experience, proficiency in SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Inventor, and a strong ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs. On-site role with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent drafting training.
• 3+ years of drafting/CAD in manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to read engineering sketches and specs to create manufacturable drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D part and assembly drawings.
• Collaborate with design engineers to produce manufacturing-ready documentation.
• Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and maintain revision history.
• Manage BOM and support drawing revisions in PDM or filing system.
