System One Solutions in Mobile, AL seeks a CAD Drafter/Designer to develop 2D and 3D drawings for vessel construction and to produce production-ready design documentation. You will review work, interpret schematics, and coordinate with engineers, production teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure design integrity and on-time delivery.

This role requires 1+ years of 3D modeling, strong communication, and proficiency in AutoCAD and related tools; prior shipyard or marine experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of 3D modeling experience.
• 1-10+ years of shipyard/marine/industrial design experience depending on level.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models.
• Create production-ready design documentation for vessel construction.
• Review and check drawings and models developed by CAD Drafters and junior designers.
• Coordinate with engineers, production personnel, program management, suppliers, and customers.
• Mentor and train junior designers and CAD Drafters as experience level dictates.
• Participate in design reviews and production support activities.
