Job summary

THE MCHENRY MANAGEMENT GROUP, LLC is seeking an AutoCAD Technician with electrical design experience to support the EDT, delivering high-quality marine drawings for MSC, Navy, Coast Guard, and commercial operators.

The role produces, updates, and maintains drawings for mechanical, structural, and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with ABS, NAVSEA, and USCG, while aligning with ISO 9001:2015. A confidential clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CAD certification required.
• Five (5) years' experience in Marine AutoCAD drawing production.
• Ability to obtain confidential clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update marine drawings in AutoCAD (plans, sections, diagrams).
• Convert sketches and redlines into clean AutoCAD files.
• Maintain as-built accuracy reflecting field conditions before release.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams (Naval Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical).
• Track drawing packages, revisions, and document control.
