Job summary

Hydrasearch in Stevensville, MD is seeking a detail-oriented Drafter to join our engineering team. You will create and maintain 2D and 3D drawings, support production, and collaborate with design engineers to produce manufacturable documentation.

In a AS9100-certified environment, you will manage revisions, BOMs, and GD&T per ASME Y14.5, ensuring disciplined documentation and configuration control across marine product lines.

Qualifications

• Create 2D and 3D mechanical drawings from engineering specs.
• Read and interpret engineering sketches, notes, and specs to produce manufacturable drawings.
• Maintain drawing revisions and version control within a PDM or filing system.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D part and assembly drawings.
• Collaborate with design engineers to develop manufacturing-ready documentation.
• Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 to ensure tolerances are met.
• Maintain drawing revisions, title blocks, and history.
• Support BOM creation and maintenance.
