Job summary

FastTek Global in Warsaw, IN, is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver and coordinate employee training across the plant. The role engages with hourly workers and supervisors, facilitating onboarding, safety refreshers, and job-specific skill development using LMS tools and standard materials.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree or equivalent and demonstrates strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
• Certifications in training, facilitation, or adult learning preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in training coordination or facilitation, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience working with hourly employees and frontline supervisors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Hire: support administration of pre-hire skills assessments, including coordinating testing logistics and tracking results.
• Training Implementation & Coordination: coordinate training schedules and facilitate onboarding, safety refreshers, and job-specific skill development.
• Employee Engagement: serve as main contact for training logistics, attendance, and follow-up; provide one-on-one support as needed.
• Course Delivery: conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions with materials from Learning & Development.
• Recordkeeping & Reporting: maintain training records, attendance logs, and LMS data; generate reports as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: gather trainee feedback and work with L&D to refine content and scheduling.
