Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver high-impact orientation and operational training, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards.

You will facilitate classroom and hands-on sessions, evaluate onboarding competency, and support continuous improvement of training materials. You will contribute to standardization across shifts, handle training documentation, and participate in cross-functional projects and the Training Ambassador program,

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and correctly use measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience delivering classroom and hands-on training in formal or informal settings.
• Strong communication skills adaptable to different learning styles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
• Ability to engage learners throughout sessions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and/or French/English desirable, location dependent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver New Hire Orientation and on-the-floor training.
• Train on quality standards, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Conduct micro-learning and refresher sessions; administer tests.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and provide leadership feedback.
• Maintain training records and documentation.
• Support standard operating procedures across departments and shifts.
• Assist with Training Ambassador program and cross-functional projects.
