Job summary

JPS Composite Materials seeks a Training Supervisor to oversee cross‑department training programs and evaluate effectiveness. You will lead a team of on‑the‑job trainers (OJT) and collaborate with the Training Manager to ensure skilled employees.

Responsibilities include needs assessments, guiding OJTs, conducting hands-on and classroom sessions, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The role emphasizes coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of training experience in manufacturing.
• Textile experience is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
• Supervise and support OJTs and trainees, ensuring high-quality instruction.
• Deliver hands-on technical training and certification for new hires.
• Conduct classroom sessions for all affected associates.
• Ensure training aligns with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Conduct weekly training evaluations.
• Coordinate Demonstration of Ability for trainees.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to OJTs.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback.
• Assist with development and rollout of training videos.
