Job summary

laborup is seeking a Corporate Trainer to own the LMS, coordinate onboarding and OJT, and develop training materials for a heavy industry and precision manufacturing setting. You will track progress and partner with department leaders to align training with real operational needs.

The role requires splitting time between the production floor and office, ensuring training reflects current processes and regulatory requirements. Strong presentation skills and experience with LMS are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree with experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Experience developing training presentations.
• Ability to write procedures and training materials.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to work outside normal business hours.
• Comfortable working in production environments.

Responsibilities

• LMS Administration: Maintain accurate training records and learning management system.
• New Hire Training: Coordinate onboarding and initial employee development.
• OJT Programs: Review and improve department training documentation.
• Training Delivery: Conduct classroom and production-floor training sessions.
• Curriculum Development: Create presentations, SOPs, and training manuals.
• Performance Reviews: Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Department Support: Partner with managers and subject matter experts.
• Compliance Tracking: Coordinate recertifications and regulatory training requirements.
