Job summary

Suffolk County Community College is seeking a full-time, 12-month Professional Assistant for the Advanced Manufacturing Training Center at the Grant Campus in Brentwood, NY. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least three years of administrative or professional experience, with record keeping and program implementation.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; Microsoft Access a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Advanced Manufacturing Training Center at local trade shows, attend job fairs, college fairs, and open houses; provide information on programs and assist with student recruitment.
• Assist with the onboarding of students to manufacturing programs.
• Assist in the setup and implementation of classes; prepare binders, handouts, rosters, and paperwork; maintain inventory and collect registration forms.
• Maintain student information database in Microsoft Access; entries and reporting.
• Assist in procurement and implementation of materials and supplies in line with budgets.
