Responsibilities

• Advanced Manufacturing Lab Coordination: Assist with the day-to-day operation and organization of Advanced Manufacturing laboratories, instructional spaces, equipment, tools, training systems, and related resources.
• Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform basic troubleshooting of Advanced Manufacturing equipment and training systems and coordinate with instructors, vendors, College departments, or outside service providers when additional technical support or repairs are required.
• Preventive Maintenance: Help establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for laboratory equipment and verify that required maintenance activities are completed and documented.
• Parts, Supplies, and Inventory: Monitor instructional supplies, replacement parts, consumables, tools, and equipment inventory. Identify needed items and coordinate quotes, requisitions, purchase orders, and purchasing activities with appropriate College personnel.
• Classroom and Lab Preparation: Assist instructors with preparing laboratories, equipment, computers, instructional materials, and training systems prior to classes and restore labs to an appropriate condition following instruction.
• Equipment and Asset Records: Maintain organized records of equipment, maintenance activities, repairs, replacement parts, software, warranties, vendor contacts, and other technical information associated with Advanced Manufacturing laboratories.
• Technical Classroom Support: Provide basic technical assistance during classes, including support for computers, instructional equipment, software, audiovisual systems, Amatrol training systems, and other classroom technology.
• Course and Student Registration Verification: Serve as a program-level liaison with the College Registration Department.
