Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineering Manager to lead the EW Manufacturing Test team, shaping test strategies across products from pre-production to full-scale output.

You will drive automation, data analytics, and quality through rigorous testing, partner with SEIT and development engineering, and ensure safety and cost improvements while scaling manufacturing. This role requires 8+ years in manufacturing test and a U.S. security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years as a people manager leading manufacturing test engineering.
• Experience with Linux, C#, Python, NixOS, LabVIEW or similar test automation.
• Experience with USB, Ethernet, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, RS232/RS485 and other protocols.
• Experience with PCBA/electronic assembly testing and testing standards.
• Proficiency with electronic and RF test equipment.
• Ability to obtain active U.S. Security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the manufacturing test engineering team, set objectives, guide initiatives, and assess team outcomes.
• Oversee and improve the manufacturing test strategy for scalable operations across Anduril.
• Collaborate with product SEIT and development engineering for design testability.
• Advance automation, uniformity, and operational efficiency in testing.
• Maintain test capabilities across products from system checkouts to component validation.
• Evaluate test data, identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
• Communicate strategic visions to stakeholders supporting scale from LRIP to FRP.
• Lead procurement and ROI analysis for new test equipment.
• Champion safety, cost reduction, quality, and productivity through testing.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
