Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to own production test activities, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and innovate test automation on our defense platforms. You'll work with mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware teams on a manufacturing floor to scale production and ensure quality.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, data-driven improvements, and collaboration with design and quality teams to enable faster, more reliable testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensure production test flow.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolve complex electrical issues found during testing.
• Improve and sustain existing test systems to improve automation, consistency, and test coverage.
• Generate test work instructions for technicians in MES and train them on equipment use.
• Develop library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides/diagrams.
• Determine root cause of product failures and recommend corrective actions (RCCA).
• Collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams for returns and failure analysis.
• Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for NPI.
• Analyze test data, document results, and report defects and improvement areas.
• Collaborate with design engineers for product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Optimize test strategies for efficiency and reduced test time.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment for precision and reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes.
• Execute testing as required.
