Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Test Engineering to lead testing strategy across high‑volume defense hardware. You will guide a team, drive automation, and ensure rigorous test protocols from pre‑production to mass output, balancing quality, cost, and throughput.

You will collaborate with SEIT, development, and operations to enhance testability, implement scalable testing architectures, and maintain equipment with proactive maintenance plans.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years as a people manager leading manufacturing test engineering or similar.
• Experience with Linux, C#, Python, LabVIEW or other test automation.
• Knowledge of PCBA/electronic assembly testing and testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct the manufacturing test engineering team, set objectives, guide initiatives, and assess outcomes.
• Oversee improvements of the manufacturing test strategy for scalable operations.
• Collaborate with product SEIT and development engineering for design testability.
• Advance automation, uniformity, and operational efficiency in testing.
• Maintain test capabilities across multiple products from system to component level.
• Evaluate test data, identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
• Lead procurement and ROI analyses for new test equipment.
• Champions safety, cost reduction, quality, and productivity through testing.
• Design proactive maintenance and calibration protocols for test equipment.
