Job summary
Dexcom Inc. in San Diego's Innovation Center of Excellence seeks a Manufacturing Technician to support pilot plant processes, participate in build readiness evaluations, and update technical documentation.
You will inspect equipment, assist engineers, run SPC monitoring, perform fault diagnoses, and contribute to Lean Six Sigma initiatives while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of related manufacturing experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
- Inspect equipment and production areas and report faults
- Support process improvement initiatives with engineers
- Perform fault detection, SPC monitoring, equipment verifications, and setup activities
- Diagnose process issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering teams on process improvements and product testing
- Conduct investigations related to out-of-tolerance (OOT) and calibration
- Assist in creating and updating SOPs and other technical documentation
- Troubleshoot complex machine and process issues
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma
- Perform root cause analyses for quality issues and incidents
- Maintain a safe, compliant manufacturing environment
