Job summary

Dexcom Inc. is hiring a Staff Manufacturing Engineer in San Diego to support pilot plant operations and lead process enhancements for applicator technology.

You will drive cross-functional development, implement validation strategies, and improve process capability to ensure production readiness. The role requires extensive experience in pilot-scale or high-volume manufacturing, plus strong project-management and mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 8–12 years related experience, or a Master’s with 5–7 years, or a PhD with 2–4 years of experience.
• Experience in medical devices, pilot-scale and high-volume manufacturing, and regulatory-compliant environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional development, validation, and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products and changes.
• Drive process capability, quality, and yield improvements using DOE, SPC, and related tools.
• Own IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities and documentation for regulatory compliance.
