Job summary

Dexcom Inc. in San Diego Innovation Center of Excellence is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering team member to support pilot plant processes, equipment, and transfer of manufacturing methods. You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and collaborate on process improvements to enable efficient production.

You will lead continuous improvement efforts with Lean Six Sigma, maintain SOPs, and ensure safety and quality compliance in a thriving CGM manufacturing environment at our San Diego site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of SPC and quality systems; able to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine equipment and production-area inspections and report faults.
• Support process improvement initiatives with engineers and technicians.
• Conduct fault detection, SPC monitoring, and setup activities.
• Diagnose process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma based improvement initiatives.
• Create, update, and maintain SOPs and technical documentation.
