Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Technical Trainer to drive the growth and development of our operations team. You will partner with plant leadership and global learning to design, conduct, and evaluate hands-on training for new hires and existing staff.

You will support progression training, deliver ILT/SOJT, and help create an exceptional employee experience through CoorsTek Academy while aligning with quality standards and manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated proficiency with CoorsTek related processes, systems, and CORE.
• 3 years related work experience.
• Knowledge of ceramic manufacturing processes, products and materials preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching/mentoring ability.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse population.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom Instructor Led Training (ILT), one-on-one, and SOJT.
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate training materials on location products, processes and technologies.
• Schedule, conduct, and document training for production employees to ensure compliance.
• Assess training needs and update materials as needed.
• Provide feedback and coaching to trainees; administer assessments.
• Support progression training and career growth within manufacturing.
• Guide employees using training tools (e.g., Workday) and capture feedback.
• Ensure training programs align with regulatory requirements and Quality Management System.
• Work with plant leadership and SMEs to create holistic training approaches.
• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodologies.
