Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking a Tooling & Design Engineer to own the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing solutions for large-scale projects with multi-facility impact.

You will work independently, drive process improvements, manage costs, and lead cross-functional initiatives that improve product quality and production capacity. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8+ years of experience in tooling, design, and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Experience with design, development, and implementation of manufacturing solutions.
• Experience with process/product improvement, quality control, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Minimal supervision; own and lead engineering projects across facilities.
• Review and approval of drawing and tooling design; support supplier audits.
• Develop, update, and approve production drawings and tooling paths; optimize setups.
• Lead cross-functional projects such as productivity, EHS, and NPI.
• Create dashboards and data-driven reports to monitor performance.
