Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Senior CNC Team Lead to oversee a high‑performance manufacturing cell. The role combines hands‑on CNC work with coaching, staffing, and performance management to ensure on‑time delivery and quality.

You will lead operators on multi‑axis CNC equipment, drive continuous improvement, and mentor teammates in safety, procedures, and problem solving within a temperature‑controlled machining environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on CNC machining experience
• 4+ years CNC and manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience with multi-axis CNC equipment

Responsibilities

• Lead operators on complex, multi-axis CNC machinery
• Ensure production schedules with quality and on-time delivery
• Communicate staffing needs, production challenges, and KPI performance
• Monitor production data and elevate issues as needed
• Partner with planning to manage workflow and scheduling
• Train and develop team on processes, safety, and procedures
• Perform hands-on CNC setup and operation as needed
• Conduct in-process inspections and adjust as necessary
• Support continuous improvement and maintain a safe workplace
• Follow PPE and safety requirements
