PowerSecure is hiring a Manufacturing Technical Trainer in Durham, NC to onboard, train, and develop Technicians across Levels I–Senior. You will lead structured programs and apply hands-on instruction to strengthen workforce capability, with a focus on safety, quality, and production standards.

The role requires strong communication, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration, plus developing training materials and tracking progress to ensure readiness for independent work.

Formación

• Proven ability to train and onboard technicians effectively (classroom and hands-on).
• Experience applying adult learning principles.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with production leadership.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and operational standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead structured onboarding programs for new technicians.
• Deliver hands-on and classroom training on mechanical and electrical assembly processes.
• Ensure new hires reach baseline competency in safety, quality, and production standards.
• Create a positive and engaging onboarding experience for new employees.
• Conduct ongoing training for technicians at all levels.
• Support skill progression from Technician I through Senior Technician.
• Develop and maintain training materials, work instructions, and standard work.
• Continuously improve training programs using feedback, performance data, and production needs.
• Track and document training progress and skill development.
• Ensure employee readiness before transitioning to independent work.
