PowerSecure is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Trainer for 1st shift onsite in Durham, NC. You will lead onboarding, hands-on and classroom training for Technicians I–Senior, aligning safety, quality and production expectations.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), 4+ years in a technical manufacturing setting, and strong communication and coaching skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

The Manufacturing Technical Trainer is responsible for the onboarding, training, and continuous development of Technicians (Levels I, II, and Senior). This role is focused on strengthening workforce capability through structured training programs, hands-on instruction, and targeted skills development.
The Trainer brings deep technical knowledge of switchgear and power generation assembly processes and serves as a trusted subject matter expert in training delivery. Equally important are strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills that enable effective knowledge transfer and development of others. This role bridges the gap between training and production, ensuring employees are prepared, confident, and
consistently aligned with safety, quality, and operational expectations.
