Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Manufacturing team in Michigan. You will lead a group of hourly supervisors, uphold Ford Production System standards, and drive continuous improvement to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

You will work to develop your team through coaching, structured feedback, and professional growth, while ensuring smooth operations, timely reporting, and a culture of respect on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years supervising hourly teams in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience in unionized environments.
• Ability to use data to inform decisions and drive results.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with plant management.
• Proven ability to lead continuous improvement and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Production Supervisors to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals.
• Uphold Lean Manufacturing and Standardized Work standards across the area.
• Coach and develop hourly staff, fostering safety and engagement.
• Plan and execute work for downtime and shutdowns; manage TPM activities.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and coordinate CI events on the plant floor.
